Mary currently works a number of jobs while seeking a position teaching art.

She is a 2010 alumni of McNeese State University in Louisiana and holds a Bachelors degree in Art Education with a concentration in painting as well as a Bachelors of Art in Visual Art with a concentration in drawing. She also holds an Associates Degree in Commercial Art, which she obtained in 2006.

When not being an aspiring educator and painter she spends her spare time knitting and collecting photos of old Kotex vending machines(which she is known for painting portraits of). She also enjoys playing video games, spending time with her husband, nerding it up about animation, being a pin-up enthusiast, and trying to afford numerous trips to Disney World.

Oh yes and comics...she loves making comics.

Many years ago Mary aspired to being an animator but instead put her efforts at story telling and world creating into comic projects, first successfully with the reality based romantic comic junkRIOT, and now with the ambitious project of The Chronicles of Avernyght.  Though Avernyght has yet to gain the fanbase and recognition of junkRIOT, Mary believes in her fantasy world and intends to pursue it to completion.
